Kelsea Ballerini Responds to What Jelly Roll Said About Her [Exclusive Interview]
Recently, Jelly Roll told Taste of Country who he would include in his presidential campaign if he was running.
One of his cabinet members would be Kelsea Ballerini.
Kelsea Ballerini Responds to What Jelly Roll Said About Her
I recently spoke with Ballerini on Taste of Country Nights With Evan Paul, and I played what Jelly said about her to her.
Jelly said, "We'd have Kelsea [Ballerini] be Chief of Staff. Kelsea's real level-headed. She'd be great in that position."
The "Cowboys Cry Too" singer was shocked that Jelly Roll chose her for that position, and her reaction was priceless.
Ballerini emphatically said, "I don't know about that, Jelly," giggling. Then the "Hole in the Bottle" singer continued, "But that feels like I can be bossy, which feels really fun. I would love to be on his ballot."
One can argue that Ballerini would not even be able to take the gig, if offered, because she is so busy.
Ballerini just joined The Voice as a coach for its upcoming Season 27. Between the filming of that show, recording new music and a tour, unless we used some type of AI to clone Ballerini, she might not be able to be the Chief of Staff for Jelly Roll's hypothetical presidential campaign.
There are plenty of duets recorded here in Nashville; maybe this can open the door to a collaboration between the two country music stars. We can all dream, can't we?
Evan Paul is the host of Taste of Country Nights, a syndicated radio show heard on more than 130 country radio stations nationwide, every night from 7PM to midnight. He plays the best new country music and interviews today's top stars, like Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Dan + Shay, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Lady A, + more!
