Some might label this affront on Carrie Underwood as a vicious attack.

Others might call it adorable nibbling.

Given the circumstances — and the aggressor's ugly track record — we've chosen to call it like it is: Gary is a big, mean, jerkhead, and he needs to leave Carrie alone.

Seriously, Gary — go pick on something your own size species! Or better yet, just be kind.

The ovis aries (we Googled) is known to eat his food, and then the food served to his friends and family. Gary isn't afraid to charge into a herd of sheep to get the meal he's after. Baby sheep need to learn to eat quickly, or Gary is gonna get 'em.

This week's episode seems to have come after feeding time. Underwood had served breakfast, but Gary wanted more. He wanted her boots. The singer points her camera down at Gary's big mean head as he nibbles her boot, but then it goes too far.

"Oww!" Underwood howls (or says, laughing) as Gary ignores her pleas for mercy.

Black farm boots are not on the menu, GARY!

Underwood looks to have many sheep on her farm. She's talked of having horses, as well, plus her dogs, kids and husband.

Starting in spring, she'll leave them all behind for days at a time as she travels to be a judge on American Idol for the very first time. Gary will have to find someone new to torment then.

Carrie Underwood invested her money wisely after winning American Idol in 2005. One of her first big purchases was a 3,099-square-foot home in the well-to-do Nashville suburb of Franklin, Tenn. Underwood paid $384,000 for a luxurious 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom stone and stucco home in a private gated community.

The house features a library, a vaulted ceiling and lovely amenities throughout, but while it's very nice, it's certainly not the kind of home you'd picture for a budding country superstar. Underwood wound up being a huge success right out of the gate with her debut album, Some Hearts, and she sold the home in Franklin for $372,500 in 2007, when she purchased the Brentwood mansion that she would later share with her husband, Mike Fisher.
