With a remarkable Super Bowl 51 fresh in the history books, preparations have already begun for Super Bowl 52 next year in Minneapolis.

Monday morning the mayor of Houston symbolically passed a football to leaders from Minnesota who will host next year's game.

Richard Davis chairs the Minnesota Host Committee which now begins a 52-week celebration leading up to the big game at U-S Bank Stadium.

"The warmth that we felt here in Houston will now travel north and give us a warmth from the inside out, no matter what the temperature is. By the way, the temperature inside the stadium will be 72 degrees."

According to Davis, the plan is to incorporate various winter sports into the fray - cross country skiing, ice skating, even snowmobiling.
