If your children want to learn anything and everything about farming, then Ag Day at the Washington Pavilion is the place to be!

This Saturday, October 10th from 10 AM until 2 PM, children and their families will have the opportunity to learn about the agriculture community, and its significance in the state of South Dakota and beyond.  The best part?  Admission to this year's Ag Day is free!  Plus if you're already attending the Ag Day event, families can also take their kids to the Kirby Science Discovery Center and Visual Arts Center free of charge.  Just think of this Saturday at the Washington Pavilion as a "Free Day!”

While attending Ag Day, children can take a virtual tour of a dairy operation, learn about farming and food, and even find out how to "Adopt a Cow!"  Traditionally Ag Day is known for sharing exhibits featuring live animals and a free lunch for all guests.  Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's Ag Day will not feature the live animals or offer a free lunch.

However, that does not mean that Ag Day will not be boring!  This a great learning experience for children to see where their food comes from and how hard our farmers work to keep America eating nutritious meals!  You can learn more about this agricultural event by clicking here.

The Washington Pavilion also posted a video to highlight all the excitement that will happen during Ag Day!  Take a look!
