Brad Keselowski powered to victory Sunday (3/24) at Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville, Virginia. It was the sixth race of the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

A combination of one particular race team and one certain make and model of car have won half of the races so far this year. It was Team Penske’s third triumph of the season in six races, equaling the total of Joe Gibbs Racing.

And as far as the race car, chalk up three victories for the new Ford Mustang. What a huge success for the car that made it's debut on the circuit this year.

Sunday's race at Martinsville, was the STP 500. Not 500 miles, instead, 500 laps around the shortest track on the NASCAR schedule.

And Keselowski led 446 of them. It sounds like a completely dominated race doesn't it? Well it wasn't exactly that. Yes, Keselowski was out front most of the race, but two guys were right on his tail the whole way, to the point where there was no room for the slightest of errors.

Chase Elliott was right behind, and actually led 49 laps and eventually came in second. Plus Kyle Busch, who was attempting to win his third Cup race in a row, came in third.

Ryan Blaney and Denny Hamlin rounded out the top five.
