Sam is the weekend meteorologist at KSFY News and is regularly involved in KSFY Morning News. Sam grew up in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota area. He had internships throughout college at KARE 11 News (the NBC affiliate in the Twin Cities) and also at Aeris Weather in Eden Prairie, MN. Sam attended Iowa State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in meteorology. It was at Iowa State where he gained experience forecasting the weather and also perfecting his broadcast skills at ISU TV’s “Cy’s Eyes on the Skies” weather program that aired two days a week.
