Augustana University Uses Overtime To March Into NSIC Finals

Third time was the charm and in the game that mattered most the Augustana women's basketball team (23-7) found a way to upset the No. 1 overall seed in the NSIC/Sanford Health Basketball Tournament Winona State 85-84 in overtime to advance to the conference championship game.

Nicole Kerkhoff led the Vikings in scoring with 21 points.

This will be the second time that Augustana will play for an NSIC Tournament Championship.

The Vikings will face University of Sioux Falls tonight, March 1st at 7:30 pm for the title.
