The World Health Organization is out with new recommendations on how much fruit and vegetables we should eat on a daily basis.

The conclusion of the study is - eat more fruit and vegetables, it's good for you!

Five portions good - seven portions even better.

That's what the health organization is recommending if you want to live longer.

Researchers say eating seven portions per day can reduce a person's risk of dying of cancer by 25% and heart disease by 31%.

Seven portions a day?!?  Are you kidding me!?!  Sounds like a perfect example of "easier said than done."

You'd never know it by looking at me, but I actually like fruits and vegetables, but there's no way I could consumer seven portions of fruits and vegetables every day.

And you REALLY don't want to know what my favorite vegetable is.  Let's just say it starts with an "A" and ends with "sparagus."  Oh my!

Yes, I know, there are a lot smarter people than me associated with the World Health Organization, but come on - you can't be serious.

Wait a minute though!  Now that I think about it - I could possibly eat more fruit flavored Dairy Queen Blizzards, and put a few more veggies on my all-meat pizza.

You know, maybe I CAN pull this "seven helpings a day thing" off after all!
