I know, I know. Here we are in July, temperatures are in the 80's and 90's, heat index around a hundred. The air conditioners are running full blast and we need to stay hydrated!

The last thing on your mind is Christmas. But it's not the last thing on Country Music Hall of Famer Kenny Rogers mind.

Kenny has just announced that he will be releasing his first new Christmas album in seventeen years via Warner Music Nashville this fall. Titled Once Again It's Christmas, the festive album will be Rogers' first Christmas release since Christmas From The Heart came out in 1998

The upcoming album will also feature special guest appearances from several artists, including Alison Krauss, Jennifer Nettles, Home Free, Jim Brickman, and Winfield's Locket. Rogers shares, "I can't tell you how much fun it was recording a Christmas record again. I'm excited for people to hear it. I feel like this is a special group of songs — both old and new — and I was particularly lucky to be joined by many talented guest artists and musicians who each have something unique to say."

Once Again It's Christmas will be Kenny's sixth Christmas release overall and he's blessed to be able to share more music from his favorite time of the year. Rogers says, "It's a very important season for me, especially now that I have twin boys who just turned 11 years old. It's reminded me of how you see it through different eyes when you're a parent. It's wonderful."
