With Your Help, We Raised $280,283 For Cure Kids Cancer
Thursday, March 27 and Friday, March 28, five Results Radio stations came together to raise money for Cure Kids Cancer. Over 24 hours, we raised $280,283. Thank you to each and every listener who opened up their hearts and donated to help fight cancer, so kids don’t have to.
One-hundred percent of the funds raised through the Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon stays local.
No child is ever turned away, regardless of their ability to pay.
Funds are used for specialized pediatric oncology equipment; pediatric oncology programs, such as the Back to School Program, Camp Bring It On, Cancer Survivor Group, Pediatric Oncology Days, Child Life, etc; and funds provided directly to pediatric oncology patients and their families for things not covered by insurance, such as meals, mileage and lodging.
Sanford Children’s became a Cure Kids Cancer hospital in 2007. The Castle of Care is the region’s only Cure Kids Cancer hospital and the state’s only COG (Children’s Oncology Group) Hospital, meaning that they share protocols with other COG hospitals around the country, so our children can receive their care close to home with their support network nearby, feeling secure in the fact that they are receiving the same treatment they would in any other COG Hospital.
If you missed the Radiothon, you can still donate here.
