Winter storm warning is in effect from 6 AM Monday to midnight Tuesday night. The system could bring freezing drizzle late Sunday night into Monday morning. The main part of the storm should hit later in the day Monday. There remains quite a bit of uncertainty with this system and snowfall amounts could trend lower or higher.

According to the National Weather Service, "This long duration snowstorm may bring snow for up to 24 to 36 hours across the area. In the end, snow accumulations could approach 6 or more inches for the local area. Those traveling or with plans early this week should continue to monitor the forecast as snow amounts are expected to change prior to the arrival of this system."

* Expect snow to develop around 6 AM Monday and then diminish around midnight Tuesday night.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between noon and 6 PM Monday.

* Look for significant reductions in visibility at times.

* Total snow accumulations of 7 to 10 inches are expected.

* Plan on difficult driving conditions...including during the evening commute on Monday.
