WINNER, S.D. (AP) - A man accused of beating another man to death at a tribal housing facility in the South Dakota city of Winner has been sentenced to six years in prison for voluntary manslaughter.

Nineteen-year-old Taylor White Buffalo initially had been charged with murder in the April 13 death of Ernest White Buffalo Chief.

U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says White Buffalo will be on supervised release for three years following his prison term.
