Willie Nelson is an American Treasure.

For more than five decades he has given us some of the finest music ever recorded, both as a writer and a performer.

For a generation (or two or three) he's always been a 'country music outlaw', and while that term was coined in the 1970's thanks to not only Willie, but Waylon, Paycheck, Cash, Coe and others, there was a time when Willie was, well, a more traditional looking young gentleman.

Check out this great 'pre-outlaw' Willie video. And the medley of songs he's singing? Well, 'Hello Walls', 'Funny How Time Slips Away', 'Night Life' and 'Crazy' are now much more than classics, they're standards. And all written by the great Willie Nelson.
