Willie and Merle Receive CMA Awards Nomination for ‘Django and Jimmie’

When the 2015 CMA Awards nomination's were recently announced, in the middle of names like Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town and others were a couple names that were familiar to fans of traditional country music.

Yep, the Red Headed Stranger and The Hag have been nominated for a CMA Award in the 'Musical Event Of The Year' category. The legend's released a new album this year 'Django and Jimmie' and it was (and is!) an event when two music icon's team up. Many of us remember the classic 'Pancho and Lefty' album, and this new one if a real Willie/Merle treat.
