Who Will Take Care Of Hank Williams?

The legendary Hank Williams if buried in a cemetery in Montgomery Alabama. Since it is something of a 'tourist site', According to the Associated Press, the city says they need to take care of it.

(AP) - A bill making its way through the Alabama legislature would allow the city of Montgomery to assume ownership of a cemetery where Hank Williams is buried.

The owner of the Oakwood Cemetery Annex died in 2004. The state insurance department assumed responsibility, and Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange says the city has been maintaining the property since 2009.

He tells the Montgomery Advertiser a photo of the grave appearing overgrown attracted a lot of media attention, and the city couldn't allow that. The pending legislation would give Montgomery the funds to maintain the property.
