Josh Turner will be putting on a great show at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds tonight (Monday, August 4th) for the Sioux Empire Fair crowd.  But before Josh Turner takes the stage, a new country duo, American Young,  is hoping that everyone will feel the passion in their music.

Jon Stone and Kristy Osmunson make up the duo American Young.  Both are artists, song writers, producers and all-around entertainers that can take songwriting credit for artists like Kenny Chesney, Lee Brice, Rascal Flatts and Blake Shelton.

Concert goers might be a bit surprised at American Young's music.  Jon Stone says,

American Young represents a sound with no boundaries. We are squarely focused on delivering our own brand of music and hope that folks will find our songs everything from haunting to dramatic and intense.

The passion for the music and the meaning behind the lyrics has many fans of American Young saying that it's more of a "movement" rather than just a great songwriting duo that has come together to form an authentic sound which developed naturally and effortlessly.

The W. H. Lyon Fairgrounds grandstand can be expected to have a bit of a different sound before Josh Turner tonight, but that's just because there aren't many duos that sound like American Young.
