Before I go any further, I need to point out, I use the phrase 'Greasy Spoon Diner' in the kindest of ways.

According to my Big Book of Stuff, today (10/19) has been proclaimed National Greasy Spoon Diner Day.

Ask anyone who travels and they'll tell you the best food is usually found at a little "Ma & Pa" place - aka a greasy spoon diner.

I think greasy spoons are the best. Maybe it's just me, but all these cookie cutter places all taste the same to me. There's no uniqueness or original flavor.

Plus, given the fact I do most of my clothes shopping in the "Big & Tall Section," greasy spoon diners usually dish up the biggest portions.

So, that brings me to the question, "Where do you think the best greasy spoon diner is located?"

If I were to choose, and having grown up in this area, I would say either Rosie's in Sioux Falls or the F&M Cafe in Madison. My third choice would be Marlin's.

Where do you recommend going?
