It has been hot lately. We haven't seen rain lately either. Because of this the City of Sioux Falls is reminding folks that you cannot randomly water your lawn any time you like.

“Our recent weather pattern is creating some dry conditions for our community and the region, and it’s important for us to use the resources we have wisely and to conserve water when possible,” says Trent Lubbers, Utility Operations Administrator.

While we aren't in a strict watering status right now, still in stage 1, there are still restrictions.

No watering is allowed between Noon - 5:00 PM This is true all the time.

If your house number in your street address ends in an even number you can water on even numbered days. So here at the station (5100 S Tennis Ln) we are allowed to water on even numbered days.

If your house number in your street address ends in an odd number you can water on odd numbered days. In July and August the odd numbered houses get to water on back to back days, 31st and 1st.
