What’s The Best TV Show Theme Song?

We have talked several times about favorite TV shows and so on. It's always fun to remember the great times we had with all those episodes.

But what about the songs associated with those programs? Those songs will stick in our heads for the rest of our lives.

I'm talking about the theme song that played at the opening of each show. The program wasn't ready to be watched until we listened to that song.

Listening to the song while the show was coming on got us somehow really ready for another great episode. It put you in the mood to watch this week's story.

And now, all I have to do is hear one of those theme songs, and it sometimes makes my eyes water. It will take me back to days that are long gone but will always be remembered in my heart.

If I hear a theme song from a popular show from say the 1970's, I can still see my dad sitting in the living room chair and mom still in the kitchen washing the dinner dishes.
