It's always a pleasure to come across a 'new' country artist that keeps it country. I mean real country.

Meet Mo Pitney.

The Cherry Valley, Illinois native has broken through the pop/rap/rock/bro 'country' trend in a big way. In his own words from his website, '"Johnny Cash At San Quentin was my introduction to playing music. I learned the whole album."

Hi current single is titled simply 'Country', and it is.

Having already performed at the Grand Ole Opry, check out this great song from that hallowed stage, a beautiful song called 'Clean Up On Aisle Five'.

Could the country music pendulum be swinging back towards true country music? If it is and does, one of the leaders will be this young man, Mo Pitney. Be listening for more of Mo on KXRB and KXRB.com.
