What? There’s Not Any Diners, Drive-Ins or Dives in South Dakota?
The Food Network hit show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives (AKA Trippe D) has taken host Guy Fieri all over the country. But, according to the Food Network website, the show hasn't been to South Dakota yet. Even Rachel Ray went to Rapid City on her old $40 Dollars a Day show.
There are plenty of great places in Sioux Falls alone to fill up a couple of episodes, let alone all the great places all over the state. In fact, tell us where the show should go on our Facebook page. Well, then, how close has Guy come to Sioux Falls then?
The show visited six places in Nebraska, all in Omaha.
- Big Mama's Kitchen & Catering (the next time I'm in Omaha I'm going here)
- Amato's Restaurant
- Brewburger's
- California Tacos
- Dixie Quick's
- Joe Tess Place
In Iowa Trippe D has been to six places as well. All in Des Moines.
The show has visited almost 20 places in Minnesota, all in the Minneapolis and St Paul area. That makes sense, the show's original production company was based in Minnesota.
