What Has Changed Jake Owen? [Video]

Jake Owen says he's a better man these days.  His attitude has changed, and he has his 4 month old daughter Pearl to thank for it.

"Having a family gives me a whole lot more purpose in life." Jake told People magazine.  He admitted that before Pearl, he was occasionally selfish.

Owen says his favorite time of the day with his baby is morning because she is always laughing.  "She's always happy in the morning, unlike her dad. I usually tend to be a bit disgruntled or moody," he said.

He also admitted that Pearl has made him grow into having a happier outlook on life.  Even though he can already imagine her first day of school, he says he's not trying to rush things. "Right now I'm really trying to slow it down."
