Another Friday night is here and a great doubleheader is taking place at Howard Wood Field.

Two Sioux Falls teams will play in the first game of the evening at 5:00 as Washington (#4, 2-1) hosts O'Gorman (#2, 2-1). Washington has the size advantage on the lines, however O'Gorman has dangerous skill position players. O'Gorman managed to put up over 300 yards of offense in their lone loss of the year against Roosevelt, and will be looking to run the ball with quarterback Luke Fritsch and fullback Dodi Makwinja. Washington's key will be their defensive linemen putting pressure in the backfield.

Washington played one of their most complete games last week under Chad Stadem against Yankton. Offensively they will be without wide receiver Carter Keller, out with a broken ankle, but will still be looking to move the ball down the field with Ty Smith and Logan Uttecht at wide receiver. The offensive line will be a pivotal factor for Washington, as they can set the pace by getting Chayden Fitzsimmons and Josh Thomas some yards on the ground. Will be important for Washington to score early, and play ahead.

The second game of our doubleheader features a 11AAA vs. 11AA matchup between Sioux Falls Lincoln (#3 AAA, 2-1) vs. Brookings (#4 AA, 1-2) with a scheduled start of around 8:00. Brookings has a fantastic running back in Gerald Maxwell, and a offensive line that Lincoln coach Aaron Beavers says is either just as big or bigger than his linemen. Lincoln is looking to bounce back from last week's 49-7 loss to Roosevelt.

We had a chance to talk with Beavers about the upcoming game against Brookings. For a more in-depth preview of Brookings vs. Lincoln, Click Here.

Coverage of tonight's games begin at 5:00 with Washington/O'Gorman, followed by Brookings/Lincoln. Jerry Palleschi and Dave Alpers will have the call.
