Wanna Know What’s Better Than a Friday?

So what's better than a Friday? Being able to drive down 41st street from Sertoma to the Tea Ellis Road again!

Anyone that lives, works, or owns a business in that area of town knows what a ginormous pain in the butt the past 5+ months have been. Navigating construction zones, dodging orange barrels, taking detours, and getting stuck in congested traffic jams.

The good news, that stretch of road is finally open! And I must say the city did a heck of job fixing it up too! Sure, it took a long time to get it done. But it was definitely worth all the profanity I let slip everyday since May getting stuck in that quagmire.

If you haven't traveled down the new section of 41st street yet, give it try. You'll find multiple lanes, a nice smooth ride, and not an orange cone to be found!

Too bad winter is right around the corner. You know what that means right? It will probably be under construction again in the spring.
