Over the weekend one road race in Massachusetts had thousands of runners participate in Cape Cod and another 100 competed from their homes or a gym.
This is becoming more popular with serious runners and cyclists who want to add to their racing resumes.
Imagine taking a route through Death Valley National Park. Enjoying the scenery of Tuscany. Maybe the London Marathon. All without ever getting on an airplane.
