Carrie Underwood joined Vince Gill to sing his signature song 'Go Rest High on That Mountain' during a memorial service for Little Jimmy Dickens on Thursday (Jan. 9).

Stationed between the two singers were a pair of Dickens' boots and his hat, plus a million memories. Much like he did with Patty Loveless during George Jones' funeral service in 2013, Gill broke emotionally during the somber ballad.

Underwood was positioned to his left, and she added harmonies and filled in spots that were too difficult for Gill to sing. Brad Paisley, Steve Wariner, Old Crow Medicine Show and Connie Smith also took to the stage. You can watch a performance of the entire group singing 'Will the Circle Be Unbroken' here.
