Vikings Coach Mike Zimmer Misses Friday’s Practice Due to ‘Minor Procedure’

Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer missed Friday's practice due to undergoing a minor procedure.

The Vikings have told multiple outlets that Zimmer will return to the team tomorrow, and will be on the sideline for this weekends game against the Buffalo Bills.

According to Ben Goessling of ESPN, the team did not give any details regarding what procedure was being done. Either way, it should not derail Zimmer from missing any more time.

Goesseling also reports that offensive coordinator Norv Turner, who is the assistant head coach, is scheduled to address reporters following practice.
