VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) — The University of South Dakota has hired Atlanta-based consulting company College Sports Solutions to help in the search for a new head football coach.

Joe Glenn announced his retirement last week after four seasons.

Athletic Director David Herbster says USD with help from the consultant has established a preliminary list of candidates to succeed Glenn, though he declined to divulge names.

Herbster says the school could name a new coach within the next couple of weeks.
