University of Sioux Falls women's basketball center Sam Knecht scored 26 points to go over 1,300 for her career in a 58-49 victory over Wayne State in the semifinals of the NSIC Women's Tournament on Monday.

The Cougars improve to 22-7 on the season and will face Northern State today in the tournament title game beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Sanford Pentagon.

Number 1 seed Southwest Minnesota State erased a 10-point deficit with three minutes left in regulation to force overtime and held on for a 97-89 double overtime win over the defending national champion No. 3 Augustana University men's basketball in the semifinal of the NSIC Tournament on Monday night.  Mike Busack led Augustana with 26 points.

SMU will play Upper Iowa for the Championship.

Augustana will now await the NCAA Selection Show to learn if it earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Central Region Tournament.
