University of Iowa to Host Wrestling Duel Outdoors in November

Consider it a first time event as the University of Iowa wrestling team will host an outdoor duel in November.

This will be the first time in NCAA history that a wrestling meet will take place outdoors. Oklahoma State agreed to participate in the event that will take place on November 14, 2015 at Kinneck Stadium. The stadium will be configured to hold up to about 25,000 people.

Iowa will be attempting to break the NCAA record for most people to watch a wrestling meet. The record is about 15,996 set by Penn State in 2013. This is the first ever NCAA outdoor wrestling event.

Now if only the weather holds up in the middle of November.
