Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says an online ad for prostitution resulted in three arrests in and near a northwest Sioux Falls hotel late Sunday night.

"During the investigation, Street Crimes Officers went to a hotel and saw a guy leaving. They believed he was connected with prostitution. He was stopped a short distance away and found he had been engaged in prostitution with one of these women. The officers then went back to the hotel room and found the two women. One of them drove the other down from St. Paul to Sioux Falls and rented a room. The second one was actually involved with prostitution."

Clemens says 33-year-old Daniel Hughes of Sioux Falls has been charged with hiring for sexual activity.

25-year-old Whitney Lawes was charged with prostitution.

25-year-old Rosheeda Suggs faces a variety of charges, including pimping, false impersonation, and possession of paraphernalia.

Both women are from St. Paul, Minnesota.
