Two Sioux Falls juveniles are each facing a list of charges after an alcohol-fueled incident that began with a fight early(Friday.

Officer Sam Clemens says a neighbor in the 900 block of West 10th Street called police to report three young people fighting on a sidewalk around 2:15am

Clemens says all three took off when officers arrived, but a 17-year-old was caught, and he began fighting with police.

He says the teen punched an officer several times, and even after he was brought under control he spat at officers and also made threats

Clemens says a 15-year-old male was also arrested, and both were taken to the Juvenile Detention Center. The third teenager was not located.

He says the 17-year-old is charged with two counts each of simple assault on law enforcement and sliming, as well as threatening a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, obstructing law enforcement, fleeing, disturbing the peace, curfew violation and underage consumption.

The 15-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, fleeing, curfew violation and underage consumption.

Clemens says the 17-year-old was described as "highly intoxicated."
