Two Men Rob Sioux Falls Convenience Store at Gunpoint
Police say an east-side convenience store in Sioux Falls was robbed shortly before 6:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Sergeant Craig Babekuhl says the Kum & Go at 4721 East 26th Street was robbed of an undetermined amount of cash at 5:47 a.m. by two men, one of whom showed a black semi-automatic handgun.
The robber with the gun was a white male, five-feet-five with an average build. He was wearing a dark blue or black coat with the hood up. The hood appeared to be lined with white wool. He also wore dark-colored pants and black tennis shoes, and he had a dark blue bandana covering his face. He also pulled out a black nylon bag and made the clerk put the money from the till into the bag.
The second suspect was a white male, 170 pounds, wearing a blue and black plaid coat, white pants, a white cap and black shoes. He had a blue sweatshirt wrapped around his neck and covering his face.
The men took cash and ran from the store and went south on Alpine.
