Daytime baseball worked out better for the Twins this week.  They held on to beat the Kansas City Royals 7-5 in the series finale.

Yesterday at Target Field fans were treated to back to back home runs by Eduardo Nunez and Brian Dozier in the first inning.  Then in in the fifth inning Miguel Sano comes to the plate to deliver a two-run shot.

Right-hander Tyler Duffey gave up five runs in the fourth, but was able to get through 6 2/3 innings to pick up the win -- and become the first Twins starter to win two games this season.

After a break Thursday the Twins return to action on the west coast beginning Friday for the weekend series with Seattle.
