As in all the other engagements, there were points aplenty. The Texas Legends assembled a larger pile to sink the Sioux Falls Skyforce 145-129 on Saturday night.

Texas (17-19) scored over 35 points in three of the four periods. Sioux Falls (23-16) met that standard only in once.

When these two teams meet any offensive lapse is magnified. Considering these two teams combined for over 1,000 points over four games those lapses were few.

For the Legends, their bread was buttered on the inside with center Jameel Warney who put together a performance of 35 points and 8 rebounds. NBA veteran guard Ben Gordon missed only one shot (12-13 FG, 7-7 FT) en route to 34 points with 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

Patrick Miller did his part to fulfill the Skyforce end of the bargain with 31 points including 16-19 from the foul line. Bubu Palo and Malik Beasley each had 17 plus Keith Benson got back on the double-double track (15 points, 11 rebounds).

The Skyforce head back to Sioux Falls for the next two games with the first against Santa Cruz on Wednesday night. Texas will be off until Friday as they meet Salt Lake City at home.
