Martin Truex, Jr. takes the victory in Sunday night's Bojangles' Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. It was his second NASCAR Sprint Cup victory this season after winning the Coca Cola 600 back in May.

Truex surged for the unexpected win at Darlington, late in the race. He passed Ryan Newman for the lead on lap 339 of 367. Truex then led 28 laps for the win.

But it was the pit crew of Truex that really won this race. Kevin Harvick by far had the most potent car. Harvick led a race high 214 laps.

A pit stop during a caution on lap 351, cost Harvick a lot of ground when his crew had all sorts of problems. Meanwhile, the over the wall gang got Truex out of the pits in record time.

Harvick had to settle for second place. He had this to say about his pit crew, "I'm over being a cheerleader. Those guys get paid a lot of money to perform on pit road, and cheerleading hasn't really been working. You've got to get after it on pit road and do your job." See where your driver finished.
