I ran home at lunch to make sure my living room didn't have a maple in it. It did not.

But before I even reached my house, my path was blocked by a pair of medium sized branches in the way. A woman who was likely in her late 60s or early 70s was trying to move them off the street with. I stopped to help her move them, because I'm a nice guy, but also so I could get home.

Hopefully a lot of other neighbors are helping each other out as well today and tomorrow. It's going to be a lot of work to clean the mess up.

I grabbed my camera while I was home and took some photos around the southern half of Sioux Falls.

Only tree downed near my house. When we used to have three vehicles, one of them would have been parked here.
