One of country music's biggest stars was raided, but it wasn't by the government. It was by his own (former) employees.

When it was confirmed that Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill in Illinois was closing, the employees decided to get, well, whatever they could! And apparently, they made off with a pretty good haul.

(AP) - Toby Keith's restaurant outside Chicago closed for good last week after employees allegedly raided the place once news broke it was closing. Manager Larry Vanni of Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill in Rosemont, Illinois, tells The Daily Herald six or seven of the 50 employees stole memorabilia autographed by Keith and raided the alcohol. Vanni says the kitchen staff walked out, some employees harassed customers and other employees "got intoxicated and stupid." Vanni closed the business for good last week because he says he couldn't trust the staff. Rosemont Mayor Brad Stephens says police are investigating and the bar has video surveillance cameras. The bar was closing after it got behind on rent and taxes. Keith's representative could not be reached for comment.
