Imagine calling the office and saying, "Hi. I'm not here today. I'm taking an unsick day."

Zocdoc CEO Oliver Kharaz thinks it's time every working American be given an "unsick day" so they can keep preventative wellness appointments.

"With an unsick day you can take time off to take care of those important appointments that are easy to put off, like physicals and teeth cleanings, all with your company's support."

Kharraz's argument is that healthier employees actually take fewer sick days, which ultimately improves office productivity.

According to most recent statistics, nearly 90% of workers have canceled check ups because of work, while 60% are afraid to take time off out of fear of losing their job.

So what do you think? Is it time companies start offering 'unsick' time?

Most insurance companies today now encourage (even require) their customers to get regular checkups - maybe it's time employers also get on board.
