Everything is in its place and properly settled for when its purpose is needed. For most people a day like Organize Your Home Day reveals a hard truth.

It’s hard to know exactly how many people actually know or care where all their possessions are stored. Maybe this is a sign of how blessed we are.

From one perspective if we can’t take care of what we have, why should we go get more? You’ve seen (or this may even be you) a garage painstakingly placed in order. Feel free to substitute sewing, laundry, bathroom or pantry.

I will confess to looking in the mirror and know that I am comfortable in the areas where things are disheveled. Not all areas, but let’s say a majority.

Taking on the entire house would be a tough assignment at the current moment. One room is a good start.

Since I know myself, this is how it will play out. Start with organizing one room, then move to the next area. By the time I get through the whole domicile, I’d have to restart back at square one.

Sounds like a perpetual marathon to me. I’d better invest in some good running shoes.
