There are many games going on tonight around Sioux Falls, but here are three games we are keeping a close eye on.

Brandon Valley vs. Harrisburg
Harrisburg last week ran into a strong Sioux Falls Roosevelt team that has easily gone through their schedule. Just prior to that the Tigers lost a close game to top to the top ranked Class 11AA team in Pierre. Harrisburg is looking to keep pace with in the 11AA standings and get back on the winning side.

Brandon Valley is also 2-2 on the season and coming off a 43-0 win against Rapid City Stevens. The Lynx have the opportunity to jump up in the standings with a win, considering Lincoln and Aberdeen (both 2-2) play each other tonight.

Last year Brandon Valley defeated Harrisburg 34-8. This year's game could be much closer with the amount of roster turnover of the Lynx, and the development of Harrisburg.

Pierre vs. Yankton
The battle for the top spot of 11AA takes place tonight as Pierre (4-0) hosts Yankton (3-1). Yankton has been hit with the injury bug this season, but they bounced back last week defeating Aberdeen Central 36-25. The Bucks, once again, have the chance to jump to the top of the standings and we know that coach Arlin Likness will throw some unique formations Pierre's way.

Pierre has been off to a great start under quarterback Brevin Kaiser. Coach Jayson Poppinga has his team playing at a high level with wins over Watertown, Brookings, Harrisburg, and Huron. Pierre has hit a rough part of the schedule with Yankton and Sioux Falls Washington ahead. Getting a win tonight would be huge for Pierre.

Lennox vs. Tri-Valley
Lennox is celebrating homecoming tonight with an interesting cross conference game against Tri-Valley. The Orioles are 3-1 so far on the year with wins against Hot Springs, Tea Area, and Canton. They suffered their first loss on the season against a strong Madison team last week. Lennox is currently sitting 4th in a packed 11A conference. West Central, Belle Fourche, Canton, Tea Area, and Todd County are right behind Lennox in the standings with either 4-0, 3-1, or 2-2 records (thank power points).

Tri-Valley is also 3-1 and grouped tightly into a packed conference. Much like Lennox, Tri-Valley suffered their first loss of the year last week. That loss was to a common opponent in Canton (21-14). The Mustangs have picked up wins this season Elk-Point Jefferson, Parkston, and Dell Rapids. A win tonight over Lennox could propel them to the top of Class 11B Region 2, depending on the outcome of Sioux Valley/Milbank Area.
