If you live in and around Sioux Falls and are waking up to downed tree branches and lawn furniture blown all around your yard, you are not alone.

A fast moving storm blew through the tri-state area early Sunday morning.  The thunderstorm that produced some heavy rain and around 60 mph winds rushed through Sioux Falls around 3am Sunday.

Over 3 thousand people were left without power due to downed power lines.  There were also reports of street flooding, property and vehicle damage.

Xcel Energy reports that they are working on the outages.

Today's forecast mentions only a 20% chance for more thundershowers.
