Thieves with Skimming Devices Target Brown County Gas Pumps

ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) — Authorities are investigating skimmers found on two gas pumps in Brown County.

The devices steal information from debit cards or credit cards when people use them to pay for gas. The American News reports that at least two accounts might have been compromised.

Sheriff's Office Investigator Damian Bahr says no leads or suspects were immediately identified.
