There is no greater, more legendary name in Country Music than Roy Acuff.

A fixture on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry for decades, and one of the 'founding father's' of what we now call Country Music, everyone who was anyone treasured the moment when Roy Acuff accepted them, into the genre' and into the Mother Church of Country Music.

Roy knew them all, from Hank Williams to Lefty Frizzell, from Webb Pierce to Bill Anderson, and of course his comic foil at the Opry, the late great Minnie Pearl.

Well, someone like that must have a lot of stories attached to his name, his career.
