Wasn't it great to turn on the TV back in the 'Nashville Network' days and see who Ralph Emery might have on the couch?

Ralph was kind of the Johnny Carson of Nashville, and everybody who was anybody would stop by, sing a song or two, and then meander on over to the chair (or couch, depending on who else might be on) and shoot-the-breeze with Ralph about, well, almost anything.
