The Everly Brothers Career Will Be Honored With A Tribute Concert

(AP) - There will be a special honor for the Everly Brothers - given by the Rock and Roll of Fame.

The organization will do a tribute concert - an event set for October 25 in Cleveland. No word on who will perform. But the Hall says surviving member Don Everly will appear at the event.

Phil Everly died from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease earlier this year. In a statement, older brother Don says he wishes "Phil were here to share this honor."

The Everly Brothers were inducted into the Rock Hall in 1986.
