OK, we're dialing back to the fall of 1953, Ike is in the White House, the Yankee's are winning another pennant (yeah, they do that again and again and again) and that's Mom there by the kitchen stove.
We pop on the old black and white TV (well, not exactly 'pop' on, it's gonna take a minute or two to warm up) and get ready for another hilarious episode of 'I Love Lucy'.
But wait....great news! The new 1954 Chevy trucks are in!
I love the old classic commercials. There wasn't a lot of 'whizz bang' specials effects back in the day. They pretty much told you what you could expect to get and, well, that was it. But there were some exciting new things coming with these new '54 models!
And I love the last line of the commercial, the real clincher that would make you have to have this new truck! After all, it is...
'The most powerful finest performing best looking advance designed truck ever built'!
