The 40th President Of The United States Was Shot March 30, 1981

Ronald Reagan was only President of the United States for 69 days when he was shot just outside the Washington Hilton Hotel.

One would think he hadn’t even be in office long enough to enact policies that would outrage an unbalanced mind.  As it turned out, that was true.  But an unbalanced mind doesn’t need a reason to do a bizarre act.

That unbalanced mind belonged to John Hinckley, Jr.  And the reason he attempted to assassinate the 40th president of the United States?

Well, unbelievable as it sounds, it had to do with a famous movie actress, as told in the video above.
