After an incident which reportedly occurred in Brookings at the Swiftel Center and involved Brooke Beaton, Sioux Falls resident Adam Lind was jailed in the Minnehaha County Jail on the evening of Sunday, November 30th.

Lind reportedly assaulted ex-girlfriend Beaton while they were watching her son race dirt bikes and then took off.

Lind was being held without bond, on domestic stalking charges, until a hearing Monday evening set his bond at $3,000 dollars and he has subsequently been bailed out.

Beaton also indicated that Lind had punched a hole in a closet door and thrown her against a wall in another incident, as well as threatened to kill her family. She also stated that her children feared him and that she has been granted a temporary restraining order against him.

Lind has previously been arrested for driving under the influence, driving without a license and was involved in a violent car crash last February. He has been ordered not to contact the victim and to be on good behavior.

Beaton has her own criminal record involving driving without insurance and several embezzlement charges.
