A teenage boy, confronting his younger brother’s bully, was stabbed Saturday night, August 8, 2015, at 10:15 PM in Sioux Falls.

Officers responded to the 600 block of West 11th Street and found the victim, a 14-year-old male, with a stab wound to the lower leg.  The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Based on witness accounts, it is believed the victim had confronted the man after the victim’s younger brother reported the suspect had been bullying him. A physical altercation ensued and the suspect stabbed the victim in the lower leg before fleeing the area.

The suspect is described as a Native American male, approximately 20 years old, 5’11, heavy build, buzzed haircut, and wearing a white shirt with blue jeans.
